General terms and conditions of
Vacances d'Azur
General
If you make the reservation you confirm to agree with all below
mentioned general terms of Vacances d'Azur.
A rental period is from Saturday till Saturday, the check-in time is
after 3.00 PM till 6.00 PM, the check-out time is 10.00 AM, unless
otherwise mentioned or agreed on.
Bookings
You make the reservation by filling out the reservation form on the
site, after clicking OK, you will receive by mail the confirmation of
Vacances d'Azur. The rental agreement is official, as soon as you
received the confirmation form.
Please check this confirmation and if anything is not right please
contact us immediately.
The reservation costs are €17,50.
Reservation and payment
If a reservation has been made out of 8 weeks in advance of your arrival
date and you have received your confirmation, Vacances d'Azur must
received 30 % of the total rent as down payment, increased by the
reservation costs and (if applicable) additionel extra's.
The remaining 70 % of the amount must be received by Vacances d'Azur at
the latest 8 weeks prior to the stay.
If a reservation has been made within less than 8 weeks before arrival
date, the payment should be done at once within 10 days to the account
of Vacances d'Azur.
If a reservation has been made within 4 weeks before arrival, the
payment should be transferred at once by telegraphic transfer to the
account of Vacances d'Azur.
In case of the payment of the total amount has not be received in due
time, Vacances d'Azur can cancel the reservation. We will be entitled to
keep the funds already been paid and any reimbursement will be of order.
It is possible to cancel the reservation, that has been made 8 weeks
before arrival, within 10 days after the confirmation has been received
without any charges.
After 10 days the cancellation terms will be applicable as hereby
written in the cancellation terms.
For reservations made within 8 weeks before arrival it is not possible
to cancel without being charged, the cancellation terms will then be
applicable as hereby written in the cancellation terms.
Changes
Any change made to a reservation must be immediately announced to
Vacances d'Azur by mail and is only possible after Vacances d'Azur has
agreed.
For changes made till 4 weeks before arrival, there will be a € 25,00
charge, in case of changes made within 4 weeks weeks before arrival the
cancellation terms will then be applicable as hereby written in the
vancellation therms.
Changing the amount of persons is possible after agreement with Vacances
d'Azur, however it is never allowed to have more people stay in the
accommodation than stated on our site.
Cancellations
If a reservation has been made 8 weeks before arrival and you have
received your confirmation, a cancellation after 10 days will be charged
with the down payment, which is 30 % of the total rent, increased by the
reservation costs and (if applicable) amendments costs.
In case of a cancellation between 4 and 8 weeks before arrival 60 % of
the total rent will be charged, increased by the reservation costs and (
if applicable) amendment costs.
In case of cancellation within 4 weeks of arrival, the total amount of
the rent will be charged, increased by the reservation costs and (if
applicable) amendments costs.
In case of a premature end of stay the total amount will be charged,
including the reservation costs and (if applicable) amendments costs.
Liability
The tenant is fully accountable during the stay, for all damages and/of
losses occurred to the rented home or its furniture, caused by the
tenant or his company.
A liability insurance could be important for the tenant.
Vacances d'Azur will not accept any responsibility for loss, theft or
damages of any kind made to belongings of the tenant during the stay.
Tenant who causes nuisance or problems of such a magnitude that as a
result a full stay in the rented accommodation is or shall be made
substantially more difficult, can be excluded (continuation) of their
further stay in the rental home and Vacances d'Azur is not due to refund
any payment.
All ensuing costs are for the account of the tenant, if and insofar the
consequences of the nuisance or trouble can be attributed to him/them.
Vacances d'Azur is not liable for any situation of superior forces like
war, nature disasters, selling of the holiday home, decease of the owner
of the holiday home. Vacances d'Azur will do everything to make an
alternitive or upgrading or will pay back the total amount of the
reservation if there is no alternative or upgrading possible.
Vacances d'Azur is not liable for apparent errors or mistakes on the
website of Vacances d'Azur or any other proclamations of third parties.
Security deposit and other costs.
In most holiday homes there will be asked for a security deposit, the
carges and rules are mentioned on the site by each home. Mostly the
security deposit will be paid on arrival unless other mentioned on the
site or on the confirmation.
Repayment will be after checking the rental home and belonging
properties, mostly within 2 weeks after checking out. Any costs of
damage or loss of the rented property and belongings will be cleared
with the security deposit.
The payment and refunding of the security deposit is a matter between
the owner/caretaker and the tenant. Vacances d' Azur is not liable for
damages or as result of problems about the security deposit.
Mentioned by everything house are the extra costs, for example tourist
tax, extra beds, heating, pets etc. These costs mostly will be paid on
arrival, unless other mentioned.
Pets are not always allowed in the holiday homes, all information about
this is mentioned in the discription of the home.
The tenants are due to dispose all garbage, bottles, papers etc. by
themselves.
The tenant should leave the house tidy and in case of endcleaning, the
kitchen should be tidy and the kitchen-utensils etc. must be washed.
If tenants fail to do so, the owner/caretaker is entitled to deduct part
of the security deposit as extra cleaning costs.
Complaints
It is always possible, in spite of all our good care, you have a
complaint. The complaint should be lodged immediately on arrival to the
owner/caretaker in order to enable to take appropiate action. With
serious complaints you have to contact Vacances d' Azur, you will find
the telephone number on the confirmation.
If the complaint is not be dealt in a satisfactory manner, the tenant
should, on arrival home, lodge a written complaint to Vacances d' Azur
within 4 weeks after return, stating all details relating to this
complaint.
Receiving a complaint after this period of 4 weeks Vacances d' Azur is
not liable anymore and the rights of the tenant will be used up.
With any independent action of the tenant to a complaint without
knowledge of Vacances d' Azur the rights of the tenant will be used up.
